The story began with our grandfather and grandmother, Ramniklal and Lila Dharia. They dedicated their lives to helping those who were less fortunate. Some of his achievements include starting a college, providing a hospital where those who could not afford medical care could be treated at a nominal to no cost, and helping countless individuals become educated and live out their dreams. This desire to help others was passed on to their 4 children who have continued to support various causes throughout the world. From 2015 to 2016 tragedy struck our family and Ramniklal, Lila, and their daughter, Mita, all passed away within months of each other. Even in death, Mita wanted to ensure that others lives would be enriched by her presence. Her body was donated to medical research and helped countless students prepare for a career in the medical field
Following in the footsteps of our grandparents and parents, we have joined together to begin a charitable foundation in their honor to help support those less fortunate. While our primary goal is advancement of the medical care of women and children, all causes helping those who can not help themselves remains our mission.
